Kosuke MASUDA

Kosuke Masuda (b. Yokohama, Japan) draws upon his dual roles as both a Shingon Buddhist monk and professional artist, to create strikingly original artworks across a variety of media.
Particularly fascinated by the form, materials and culture of bicycles, much of Masuda’s work incorporates aspects of this in numerous ways, from his Japanese sumi-e brushwork on paper, to microscopically detailed engravings on componentry.
Kosuke exhibits throughout Japan, as well as internationally. His work is featured in numerous collections around the world.
